ACSO: Man flags down unmarked car while fleeing from deputies | Crime

ADAMS COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - Adams County authorities arrested a man following a short car and foot pursuit on Highway 61 at the county line Wednesday afternoon.

Andrew Morgan, 45, led deputies on a short car pursuit in a stolen vehicle, attempted to flee on foot and then flagged down an unmarked sheriff’s office vehicle, according to the Adams County Sheriff's Office.

He was immediately apprehended.

Morgan is accused of stealing a 2002 Gray Ford Explorer, a generator and lawn equipment from two different locations last week.

He was charged with two counts of grand larceny and failure to register as a sex offender.
