Two ACSO deputies graduate from state law enforcement academies | News
Two of Adams County’s newest sheriff’s deputies graduated from law enforcement training academies last week.
Wednesday, Summer Moffett completed a 10-week training course at Mississippi Delta Community College Law Enforcement Training Academy, according to to a press release from the Adams County Sheriff's Office.
Friday, Joseph West completed a nine-week training course at Harrison County Law Enforcement Training Academy.
“The academy is weeks of hard, grueling work,” Adams County Sheriff Chuck Mayfield said. “Our officers that go through these academies are subjected to months of mental and physical hardships, and to graduate is a testament to their abilities and desire to serve their communities as certified law enforcement officers."
